CANCER is such a difficult life-altering disease. . every day in my clinic when I deliver a cancer diagnosis I see a myriad of emotions from denial, anger, helplessness, and the hunger to understand its cause. One of the better-understood causes of cancer is genetics or hereditary, keeping this in mind we planned a screening & awareness camp for breast cancer. We offered clinical examination and imaging to all patients and genetic testing to high–risk patients (family history of cancer). It was a great opportunity to screen some new patients and impart information about breast cancer. Thermal imaging (Niramai) is a useful tool in screening for breast cancer. Prevention, Screening, and early diagnosis are key in our fight against cancer. Hope to participate in many such events in the future.
